Welcome to this mini course of "Abstracting Flowers with Bold Colours & Mixed Media".
In this two-part painting course, you'll learn my personal, expressive approach to floral painting—moving from realism to abstraction using bold colour, mixed media, and intuitive mark-making.
Part One - Realism:
We start focusing on composition, understand floral anatomy, creating realistic floral studies and colour mixing.
Part Two - Expression
We continue working on the same project - this time, shifting toward abstraction, using layering, mixed media including gold leaf to break apart and reimagine the composition.
